What exactly are beliefs?

Beliefs are thoughts that are repeated enough to become automatic. Thoughts become beliefs. Beliefs determine how you feel, how you act or react, and your results in life. Recognize your beliefs about yourself and how you think and speak to yourself. Make sure your thoughts serve you. Shift negative thoughts by replacing them with transition thoughts. When the transition thoughts become beliefs, start replacing them with positive thoughts. An example of this is "I'm fat and out of shape" ~ "I'm blessed with this body" ~ "I'm choosing to love my body by eating healthier and exercising".

Subconscious thoughts are equally important. Look at your life and times when you stopped yourself from achieving your potential. Determine what you were thinking and what you believed about yourself at those times. Look deeply into when you first experienced these beliefs about your self. Go back as far as you can remember. What was the situation, what beliefs did you form based on your feelings. Now, go back and look at the situation for what it really was from the actual situation. What was the truth about the situation. You can now shift your subconscious belief!
